When the inventor Wingquist's son suddenly disappears, he is just one of several missing children. Some believe the boy has been abducted by aliens, while suspicions grow that Wingquist himself may be responsible. Police officers Dahlberg & Ljung suspect something is amiss. The more they investigate, the more they realize that something is not right. They soon realize that the conspiracy is bigger than they first thought.
